Goal Achievement - 3 Simple Steps to Guarantee Success By Donna Marie Laino

Goals and resolutions are always on our minds when the new year rolls around. Many people use the opportunity to start again, reset goals, and create a new list of goals to achieve new levels on the success ladder.

One important thing to remember is to stay focused. This is probably the number one problem with missed goals.
To guarantee your success there are 3 questions to ask yourself, the most important being:

1. What is important now? Just pick one thing. That is the only thing to concentrate on in that moment. In any given situation, your mind can only process and do one thing anyway. Make the one thing the most important thing.

2. Is this action contributing to my goal? Whatever you decide to do ask yourself if it is really going to make a difference in the outcome that you want to achieve. If you need down time, schedule time to play, check email, return calls, etc.

3. What is the next step? Always be thinking about the next thing. You will create a pattern in your mind for organization, creative thinking, and time management. The process for problem solving also can be managed. You will allow time for masterminding and brainstorming with thinking ahead.

Goal-oriented planning will keep you on the right track for success. Remember these simple questions to ask yourself. Print them on paper and hang them up in your office, computer area or desk. Your mind will be more focused when it only has one thing to deal with at a time. Plan smart and your will always succeed.

Being in the Success Zone By Damien Clarke

Being in the Success Zone By Damien Clarke

I’m sure you’ve heard the expression “in the zone,” particularly as it applies to sportspeople or others who are unstoppable as they work towards their goal. Sometimes you can be in the zone regarding your success and nothing gets in your way; other times you can do everything right and find that whatever can go wrong, will. Here are 4 thoughts on creating the habits of successful thinking and getting “in the zone” for success.

1. Expect Success to be Yours
The road to success is always bumpy with many rocks and obstacles in your way. Regardless of what people think, the road to success is never smooth. Your true test of character, attitude and commitment will become evident when you hit those inevitable bumps in the road. All three character traits, if positive, will help get you “in the zone” or at least, keep you there.

2. Success Breeds Success
Success is contagious and has an ability to gain momentum and build on past successes. Most people are encouraged by the success they have (big or small) and it helps them believe that anything is possible. For some it is hard to believe without evidence. That’s why so many people have difficulty losing weight, as the picture they hold of themselves being fit and healthy doesn’t match current reality as the results are not being seen fast enough. We all need smaller goals within the bigger ultimate goal.

3. You Must Choose Success
We all have the power to choose the attitude we want to have for the day. We can choose to be happy and optimistic for what the day may bring, or we can be negative and pessimistic and quite frankly, not a nice person to be around. You can choose to look on the positive side, just as you can choose success. Too often we blame others for our lack of success, when we should be taking responsibility for our actions and choosing to be successful.

4. Experts Don’t Know Everything
Do you follow your gut instincts or intuition for when you have a plan, even though it goes against all conventional wisdom? Or do you listen to what the so-called ‘experts’ are saying? The ‘experts’ are quite often wrong. If all successful people had listened to all of the so-called ‘experts’ in the early days of their journey, it’s a fair bet that they would have given up on their dreams and gone against their gut instincts.

Remember - success is a mindset, it’s more than just wealth!

How to Get an Online Degree From an Accredited University By Bob Randooke

Published by admin under Online Education

I remember many years back how hard it was getting a good education, especially with all of the partying that was going on in the dorm rooms and how long it ook to find a parking spot at the university. That alone with the long drive to school usually took at least 2 hours out of my school day back and forth that I could have used studying and getting better grades. I was always wondering why couldnt there be a more efficient system of education or even a home schooling type of system to make better use of time so that it could be devoted more towards studying.

Then one day I was looking though my university website and found out that they were offering an online class on marketing websites through the internet. I decided to pay the 99 dollar fee and took the course. It took a few months but I did pass the course which gave me my basic knowledge on how to market websites online to make a profit. As online education has evolved it has been better able to provide a wider range of courses in which a student can receive a much better education online now then when I took my first online university class, but the one thing that both time frames have in common is the goal, and that is to save time and make education more efficient in time and conveniency.

These days you can even get a doctoral degree or a Masters degree online from a University that is highly accredited such as Keller Graduate School of Management which offered masters Degrees to student thats specialized in doing commerce over the internet, or the University of Nebraska at Kearney which offers very eclectic business oriented fields of knowledge ranging from international business to understanding very complex economic concepts. Just remember before signing up for any online educational course to do your due diligence on the college that is offering these courses to make sure that they are accredited and are valued by the more established land based universities as once you put in your time to get your online degree you cannot get that time or effort back.

Author has a long for writing and it ranges across many different areas such as Online Doctoral Degrees and how to find the best Online Colleges .

Doctorate Programs Offer the Highest Level of Education By Michael Bustamante

Published by admin under Education Abroad

If you are a serious student who wants to achieve the pinnacle of education in your particular chosen field, the doctorate program can help you achieve your goals. The doctorate degree is often referred to as a “terminal degree” as it is the highest level of education available for most fields of study. Those who possess a doctorate degree are considered experts in their chosen field, and respected as equals by their peers.

There are different kinds of doctorate degrees. The research doctorate (Ph.D.) is the most common and is awarded in recognition of academic research and contribution to human knowledge. Professional doctorates are awarded in professions of law, medicine, music, and ministry, to name a few.

Honorary doctorates are awarded by institutions in honor of noteworthy contributions to fields other than academic. Honorary degrees are often conferred on celebrities. So as not to confuse the Honorary Doctorate with academic degrees, it has become common to use Hon.D. to indicate that the degree is purely honorary.

A doctorate is the highest level of academic degree possible, the most common being the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). Doctorate programs require candidates to spend anywhere from four to six years in graduate school, subsequent to the master degree. PhD degree programs build extensive knowledge in the chosen field of study. The doctorate program produces new original research that holds meaning in the field, and prepares candidates for teaching at the college and university level.

Doctorate programs are possible in many subjects as well as combinations of subjects that some students may choose for developing skills and expertise in various fields, such as business (management and information technology), engineering, sciences (chemistry and biology), education, and other academic areas. In a nutshell, doctorate programs begin with gaining broad knowledge in the field and teaching basic undergraduate courses before focusing on developing a research project, writing a thesis, taking comprehensive exams, and defending the publication-quality thesis before a peer group of faculty who will judge the candidate’s qualifications and readiness.

Those interested in doctorate programs or doctoral degrees must be prepared to spend many years of intensive study, and must be eager to advance theoretical and practical knowledge and leadership skills. The satisfaction and many rewards and accolades that await the doctorate degree holder are immeasurable, making it well worth the necessary sacrifices and effort.
