The fact is you have more brains, ability and intelligence than you could ever use if you work on developing yourself for the rest of your life. You’re far smarter than you could ever imagine. The simple fact is there is no obstacle you cannot overcome, no goal you cannot achieve by applying your mind to any given situation.

The good news is, the more you learn, the more you can achieve. Leaders are Readers, and Leaders are Learners. Continuous learning is the key to the 21st century. Lifetime learning is the minimum requirement for success in any field of endeavour.

Make a decision today to become a life time learner…

Read all you can find about your field for 30-60 minutes per day…

Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body - Reading for 1 hour per day is the equivalent of around 1 book per week, or 50 books per annum or about 500 books over the next 10 years vs the average adult who reads less than 1 book per annum.

So when you read for just 60 minutes per day, this alone will give you an incredible edge in your field. You will become one of the smartest, most competent, highly paid people in your profession by simply reading for 1 hour per day.

Like with any new habit you want to start doing, you need to find a simple way to make this happen, to take the first step. So, why not make it easy, start with a book you know you’ll enjoy, maybe one you’ve had on your reading list for a while, or one that lots of people have recommended to you.

This will get you going on this new habit with greater ease, and before you know it you’ll be reading daily without much effort or thought.

Happy reading!
