How To Apply for Griffith University Admission

Other Australian applicants
All other applicants who are Australian or New Zealand citizens or Australian permanent residents, including candidates for the Queensland External Senior Examination in 2002, can apply using one of two methods:

Lodge an application using QTAC’s ‘Apply by Web’. See the Benefits of using ‘Apply by Web’ below
Lodge a written application by using a QTAC Tertiary Study Application form.

International Student Applications
International students are those who are not Australian or New Zealand citizens or who do not hold a visa giving permanent residence status in Australia.

All international students currently studying Year 12 in Queensland will receive QTAC application information and materials advising application procedures and deadlines through their school. International Students completing Year 12 elsewhere in Australia can apply using one of three methods:

1.   Lodge an application via QTAC’s Twelve To Tertiary (TTT).
2.   Lodge a written application by using a QTAC Tertiary Study Application form.
3.   All other international students applying from within or outside Australia on the basis of other than Australian Year 12 qualifications should apply directly to the Griffith University International Centre. See Important Contacts.

The University requires international applicants to demonstrate they have adequate proficiency in the English language. Information on the minimum criteria for English proficiency for Griffith University programs is available from the Griffith University International Centre .

International students study on a full fee paying basis, that is, they pay the full cost of their education. A limited number of scholarships are available to students from developing countries under the Australian Government’s overseas aid program ‘AusAid’.

If you prefer to apply using the QTAC Tertiary Study Application form. The form and accompanying instruction booklet explaining how to complete the form correctly and how to nominate for the Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT Series C) is available free from any Griffith University Student Administration Office or from QTAC. Also, the QTAC Tertiary Study Application is available in the QTAC Guide: Tertiary Courses book, which can be purchased from news agencies throughout Queensland, Northern New South Wales, selected interstate news agencies and over the counter at the QTAC office. Only one application per person may be lodged per admissions period - photocopied or facsimiled forms are not accepted.
